In early June 2024, after 1.5 years of construction, the Wacker Neuson Group opened its new spare parts logistics center in Mülheim-Kärlich. The environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art facility is strategically located between Frankfurt a.M. and Cologne/Bonn airports and is well connected to international transport networks.

- Spare part material numbers: approx. 100,000
- Storage area: ~ 60,000 m²
- Small parts (KLT) approx. 200,000 storage spaces
- Pallet racks approx. 40,000 storage spaces
- Floor storage area: 11,600 m²
The warehouse operation is characterized by high efficiency and a high degree of automation and digitalization, including the use of an automated small parts warehouse with over 30 robots.
Our Tasks:
- Overall Project Coordination: Acting as the appointed consultant and project coordinator for Wacker Neuson in collaboration with the selected external logistics service provider across the 18 workstreams.
- Definition and Coordination of Operational Processes and Interfaces: Defining and coordinating all processes and interfaces to ensure warehouse operations in collaboration with the external logistics service provider.
- Test Management: Planning, coordination and execution of test management using the software tool Panaya to ensure process functionality between the partners.
